Nathalie Djurberg & Hans Berg (Sweden), Rachel Maclean (UK), Su Hui-Yu (Taiwan), Wang Jun-Jieh (Taiwan)

Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg were both born in Sweden in 1978. The artist duo now works and lives in Berlin. Their works were showcased in the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009, and have been included in art collections worldwide, including the Prada Foundation in Milan, Italy and MoMA, New York.

Rachel Maclean was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1987. She now works and lives in Glasgow. She received her master’s degree from the Edinburgh College of Art in 2009 and was awarded New Contemporaries in the same year, which put her in the limelight. She was the representative artist of Scotland in the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017, and is now one of the most high-profile young artists in the UK.

SU Hui-Yu was born in Taipei in 1976, and received his MFA from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2003. In recent years, his works have been showcased in numerous prestigious international film festivals and exhibitions, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Videonale in Bonn, a group exhibition at the Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo in Mexico, and Wuzhen International Contemporary Art Exhibition. In 2019, he was awarded the Taishin Visual Arts Award in the 17th Taishin Arts Award. His works have been included in the art collections of various art institutions and organizations, among which are Taipei Fine Arts Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, JUT Foundation for Arts and Architecture, Sunpride Foundation and White Rabbit Gallery in Australia.

WANG Jun-Jieh was born in Taipei in 1963. He graduated from the HdK Art Academy in Berlin, completing the master program with the highest honor of “Distinguished Artist.” Wang started making video art in 1984 and has been viewed as a pioneering figure of Taiwan’s new media art. In recent years, he has curated multiple exhibitions and engaged in various interdisciplinary new media theater projects. His works have been showcased in Gwangju Biennale (1995, 2002), Venice Biennale (1997), Shanghai West Bund Biennale (2013), Transmediale (2014), etc. He was awarded the Kunstförderpreis Berliner Fernsehturm in 1995, and his Project David III: David's Paradise was awarded the Taishin Visual Arts Award in 2009.
